Jan 21, 2012 - i wonder why they magically found the financial backing for Kramnik but not Shirov? Finance was an issue for Carlsen too - i wonder why? I wonder who these capricious financiers are?

Jan 23, 2012 - Shirov beat Kramnik fair and square and then had his title shot taken away from him. The reasoning was that Kasparov had never lost a game to Shirov and so the match wouldn't be a money spinner or generate interest from the public. Kramnik walks in and wins the title. For this reason alone, although there are plenty of others, I have zero respect for Kasparov. I'm glad it backfired on him

Jan 25, 2012 - it's very interesting to watch how these grandmasters analyze their moves, Shirov repeatedly says "create mess" , that proves his style of play , fearless and ferocious. He loves complications and fire on the board, Tal like.
